How Do I Clear My Browsing Data?

As you browse the Internet, everything you view is saved to the cache on your computer. Using cache helps everything load faster because data comes from your hard drive instead of a server. To conserve hard drive space, you can clear or delete the history (cache). Below are step by step directions on how to clear browsing data which will help keep your VenueBook platform updated with the correct information. Please note that the VenueBook platform is optimized for Chrome.



1. On the browser toolbar, click the Chrome menu icon.

2. Select the More Tools link.

3. Select the Clear browsing data link.

4. Use the drop-down menu to select the time range you want to clear browsing data.

5. Clear browsing data by selecting checkboxes. Select the Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files checkboxes.

6. Click the Clear Browsing Data button.



1. In the Safari menu bar, click the Safari option.

2. Select the Preferences link.

3. In the Preferences window, click the Advanced tab.

4. At the bottom of the window, select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox.

5. Return to the Safari menu bar and click the Develop option.

6. Select the Empty Caches link.



1. In the Firefox menu bar, click the Firefox option.

2. Select the Preferences link.

3. Click the Privacy tab.

4. Under the History heading, click the clear your recent history link.

5. Select the Cache checkbox. You can select multiple checkboxes for other browser information to clear as well.

6. Click the Clear Now button.
