How do I cancel an Event?

To cancel an event:

  • Go to the calendar
  • Click onto the Event
  • Select the Cancel or Decline button (dependent on the Lead Source)


  • Click into an Event file.
  • In the overview tab, select the dropdown ‘Actions button located on the right hand side.
  • Select ‘Cancel’.
  • A new window will appear. From the drop down, select a reason for rejecting the proposal. Below, please provide a description for why you are canceling and click ‘Reject proposal’.

Please note : Canceled events will disappear from the calendar but can be found under the Canceled tab in the Events tab, just in case it was either canceled by mistake or the client decided to move forward after telling you they want to cancel.

An automatic email will go to the contact that's tied to the Event File. Click here if you want to prevent this from happening.
