How do I send my client a receipt?

When a Payment is taken through VenueBook, the contact attached to the Event File will automatically get a receipt email. This includes the URL to the printable version of the receipt as well as the information regarding who the payment is to, what the payment is for, and the amount of the payment.


Please note if your client did not initially create a log in and accept the proposal, they will not have access to the Event File. 


As an alternative, you can also manually send a payment summary:

  • Go the Proposal tab of the Event File
  • Select the Actions drop down
  • Click Print Payments
  • A new print view window will appear. Save as a PDF.
  • Send to client in the Messages tab.
