You will receive inquiries, which we like to call Leads from our marketplace, www.venuebook.com.
When a client is ready to submit a lead, our system generates a recommended space within your venue. When a client selects “Price Your Event” there are two different ways we capture lead information.
The two types of leads are ExpressBook and Request for Proposal.
ExpressBook is our revolutionary booking tool that allows clients to build a proposal from your current offerings. After clicking “Price Your Event” the client sees the following page:
The client can choose from your food and beverage packages and view an estimated price breakdown. ExpressBook leads generate the first (editable!) version of a proposal.

The second lead type is Request for Proposal. Even if a venue is set up on ExpressBook, a client has the option to submit a general inquiry, which we like to call Request for Proposal.
Request for Proposal leads prompt clients to input the general info necessary for you, the event manager, to decide whether the event is a fit. A client provides info in the following fashion:

Note: ExpressBook is the default setting for most of our venue partners. If leads come in with your food & beverage packages already chosen, you're an ExpressBook venue. If leads come as a basic inquiry, your venue or the client has chosen to use Request for Proposal.
If you're uncertain which type of leads you receive please reach out to email@example.com.
